Beer Antioxidant 20g

Eliminate oxidation from your homebrew, including bottleneck oxygen with this powerfull and easy to use antioxidant.  Light-coloured beers treated with this antioxidant remain fresh in flavour and lively in colour for longer, with a predominance of the yellow/greenish hues and none of the dark, dim ones, typical of oxidized beer

  • Composition: A blend of Potassium metabisulphite and buffered ascorbic acid.
  • Purpose: Minimizes or eliminates oxygen in bottled beverages to prevent oxidation.
  • Application: Added post-fermentation during maturation or prior to bottling.
  • Benefits: Protects against flavor changes and maintains freshness, often used to replace traditional antioxidants. 

Instruction:
Add immediately after fermentation and prior to bottling. The product can be added also during filtration, whereby contact with oxygen should be avoided as much as possible.

Dosage:

  • 2-4 g/100L of Antioxin SB react with 0,5-1 ppm of dissolved oxygen, equivalent to about 0,6-1,2 mL of air per 330 ml bottle.
  • Easy dosage: 0.8 gram per 20 liter of beer
