Smooth and Creamy Irish Stout.

Rich malt background, medium hop bitterness and unmistakable roasted coffee and chocolate flavour from the English Malts used.

  • Original/starting gravity: 1.050
  • Final gravity: 1.012 
  • Alcohol: 5.0%

Included in kit: 

  • 500 g Wheat Malt
  • 420 g Roasted Barley 
  • 300 g Lager malt 
  • 110 g Crystal T50
  • 90 g Black Malt
  • 2 kg Dry Malt Extract
  • 17 g East Kent Goldings (5.8 % AA)
  • 16 g XJA/436 hops (12.9 % AA)
  • 5 ml Irish Moss
  • Nottingham yeast

Equipment needed:

  • 25l Fermentation bucket with airlock
  • Sanitiser - recommend No Rinse Sanitiser or Acidisan available on website.
  • Thermometer
  • Hydrometer - Optional but useful to calculate alcohol %
  • Grain bag
  • Large sieve/Colander
  • 15 L pot or bigger
  • Ice or an immersion chiller
